Il re pastore is an opera written by Mozart, when he was only 19 years old. Aminta is a young shepard, living a beautiful and simple life and beeing happily in love with Elisa. He is unaware that he is the heir of the countrys throne, and is suddenly forced to choose between love and duty.
Adam Fischer directs The Danish Broadcasting Corporation Sinfonietta. Amont the soloists you can se Henriette Bonde-Hansen (Aminta) and Lothar Odinius (Angellore).

THE LIGHT AND THE DARKNESS

Based on newly discovered private letters, this documentary, draws a portrait of an artist constantly torn between his music and his passion for his wife, Anne Marie Carl Nielsen, a sculptor, an well known artist in her own rights. The marriage between the two, was a life long fight between mutural love and the need to be free and to create.
